Vehicle electrical system trouble shooting and diagnostics.
Assist engineering staff with instrumenting test articles, test setup, and test breakdown for validation activities.
Assisting engineering in conducting validation activities, including collecting and documenting needed data. Data collection, documentation, compiling, and analysis during testing.
Troubleshooting, diagnosing, performing preventative maintenance, and repairing of test equipment.
Build or modify test equipment/fixtures.
General labor around facility.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Relevant skills and experience with electrical harness fabrication and vehicle test.
Building prototype wire harnesses assemblies. including soldering electrical wires.
Vehicle electrical system trouble shooting and diagnostics.
Familiar with oscilloscopes and digital voltage ohmmeters.
Collecting data using a Canalyzer and/or similar devices.
Experience with high voltage cables for EVs.
Able to read vehicle and automotive component electrical schematics.
Ability to read and comprehend engineering drawings, specifications, diagrams, and instructions.
Able to follow detailed instructions.
Career experience in the heavy truck/automotive industry.
