Job Summary:
- Position will test and qualify final product (barcode printer product) - printers and labels.
- Technician will load, set printer, set up feed / speed with different media & ribbon supplies.
- Grade bar codes, labels, measure labels, use excel or the other QA software to analysis the data.
- Some Chamber testing - nice to have this experience.
- EE testing- Power supply, Stepper Motor and Key Components
- BS Engineering EE Degree or Associates degree with 2+ years testing experience is fine
- Executes straightforward product test plans and a limited variety of moderately complex product test plans, selecting from a variety of established procedures.
- Documents product performance according to established procedures.
- Creates computer data files and inputs data, problems, and issues according to standard procedures.
- Assists in first level failure analysis and root cause failure analysis as circumstances dictate.
- Completes test activities in a thorough and timely manner.
- Familiarity with various testing methodologies, such as functional testing, performance testing, reliability testing, and environmental testing.
- Understanding of electrical engineering principles, including circuits, signals, and systems, is essential for comprehending product specifications and test requirements.
- Basic knowledge in operating a wide range of test equipment, including oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, power supplies, and data acquisition systems.
- Ability to lift to 50 pounds.
- Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree (EE is preferred)
- Preferred Work Experience (years): 0 to 2 years of experience.
