8-10 Years' Experience of senior Mainframe Systems Programmer background is required
- Infrastructure Engineer with a hands-on experience
- Building robust Mainframe environments
- Scripting and process Automation experience Required
- Extensive knowledge of Mainframe Systems methodology and frameworks
The position requires advance knowledge of configuring Development and Production environments comprised of the below listed components:
- 5-10 years of z/OS Systems Programming experience
- CICS TS for z/OS
- CICS Web Services
- MQ for z/OS
- DB2 for z/OS
- Control-M for z/OS
- IBM System Automation for z/OS
- REXX Programming
- z/OSMF – Working Knowledge of Workflows
- Candidate will be supporting various project teams and their mainframe related needs on a day-to-day basis
- Candidate will be leveraging their skills to automate configuration processes on the mainframe using above toolset
- Extensive knowledge of MQ Series
- Extensive SDLC experience with some development or Systems programming experience
- Ability to analyze and trouble-shoot Mid-tier/infrastructure issues.
- Very strong verbal and written communication skills (Critical)
- Ability to facilitate technical requirements gathering and design sessions
- Collaborate and interpret business and technical needs
- Excellent attention to detail and quality work products (Critical)
- Strong customer service skills with internal and external customers (Critical)
- Must be able to perform assigned tasks with minimum supervision (Critical)
