• State of Ohio License required. NICET is a plus.
• Geographical footprint is up to 2 hours from home office.
• Driving to site locations in personal vehicle.
• Will be driving 3-4 site locations a day (2 hours per call).
• Commercial experience preferred.
• 8:00AM to 4:30PM typically. Sometimes overtime will be required. Depends on the demands of the customer.
• Emergency on-call for 2 days a week. This will be an 8–10-week rotation.
• Electronics background or electrical engineering education.
• Certified tech with Client or SimplexGrinnell programs is a plus.
• Low voltage certifications are a plus.
• Candidate will need some experience with fire tech. Nobody new to the industry. At least 18 months of experience.
• Basic knowledge with low voltage tools.
• Service experience and troubleshooting experience required.
• If there are 10 years of experience or more, Wire runs/pulls are minimal. Most of the job requires troubleshooting.
• Modification programming will be part of the job.
• Attendance is very important. (#1 priority)
