Project Manager-Senior

Qualifications:
Directly influences activities and coordinates complex and critical projects from conceptual phase through implementation, and completion. Anticipates high level needs for clients and other resources and prioritizes established requirements. 2) Develops and maintains the detailed project plans that clearly define the requirements, identify resource needs, establish clear and achievable objectives, balances competing demands to ensure project is completed on time, and is within the approved budget. 3) Lead efforts to identify risk/issues, recommend process improvement and corrective action plans to meet customer requirements. 4) Monitors and evaluates progress and performance against the project plan and develops resolution of time critical issues and minimize delays. 5) Generates timely and appropriate communications to clients and resources regarding the status of project by preparing detailed status report and coordinating presentations. 6) Ensures that projects comply with division policies, quality standards and regulatory and statutory requirements as outlined by the Program Management Office (PMO). 7) Performs other related duties as assigned. Working Conditions: Will require the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, etc. Physical Demands: Requires some degree of sitting (for prolonged periods of time), standing, lifting carrying, pushing, pulling less than 20 lbs. Hours of Work: May require extended work hours. Occasional travel including overnight stays may be necessary Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience with 6 to 9+ years of relevant work experience. US citizenship is required for this position.
Responsibilities:
Project management in alignment with strategic cyber objectives to help enable sponsorship and alignment to related programs as needed. Help drive and communicate the strategy and project planning with a focus on cyber workstreams. This will combine traditional project planning views with Agile ways of working in a kanban methodology. Offers varying levels of project management oversight and directly influences activities on business-critical projects from the conceptual phase through solution implementation and project close. Serves as a single point-of-contact for and interfaces with all areas affected by projects. Uses industry-standard best practices in order to assure delivery of project goals, objectives, milestones and deliverables, as well as compliance with all project management processes. May direct work of matrixed teams. Senior level position requires a seasoned professional with a full understanding of industry practices. Requires high level of experience and proficiency in field. Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge pertaining to concepts and principles in functional area. General knowledge of department/business lines, Reserve Banks, and / or System operations, policies, procedures and technologies. Communications: Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, creativity, attention to detail, and oral and written communications skills tailored for the intended audience. Risk Management: [The individual] is responsible for understanding and applying risk management discipline in decision making, and contributing to his or her functions risk management. Decision Making: Works under direction and guidance in planning details of procedures and methods to attain definite objectives. Makes decisions within established or widely accepted standards. Achieves assigned/planned results by decisions and actions based on professional methods, training, business principles, and practical experience.

As part of Client strategic efforts 2023-2026, there are several workstreams associated with cybersecurity practices that require a level of project management and orchestration. The OCISO Policy and Assurance team needs to put guardrails in place for strategy and consistency. We are seeking a project manager to lead projects in alignment with several strategic cyber objectives and help enable sponsorship and alignment to related programs as needed. They will help drive and communicate the strategy and project planning, starting with two cyber focused workstreams, and expanding across district-wide initiatives. This will combine traditional project planning views with Agile ways of working in a kanban methodology.
