This skilled position involves troubleshooting and repairing installed systems; Including panel repair/reprogramming, device replacement/repair, resolving low voltage circuit troubles, and system testing.
Organize and effectively utilize technical resources, information, material, and support to assure efficient execution of all assigned tasks.
Candidate must possess excellent written/verbal communication and outstanding customer service skills.
The position involves the programming of fire alarms, security, and access control system panels.
On-call and after-hours work required on occasion for customer needs.
Required
High school diploma or equivalent required.
2-3 years' experience with fire alarm
Comfortable working at customer locations including construction sites.
Must be able to interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications.
Must be able to manage small move add changes with little Supervision.
A good working knowledge of computers is necessary.
Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 40 lbs.
Must be able to do electrician type work to include pipe bending, wire pulls etc.
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends to meet customer requirements.
Demonstrate a high level of customer service.
Ability to always follow safety guidelines and procedures.
Possess a valid driver's license and driving record.
Preferred
Technical training and programing.
