Job Summary:
We’re seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our production team in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for performing both preventative and emergency maintenance on critical equipment to ensure uninterrupted production and compliance with food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine and emergency maintenance on mixers, ovens, conveyors, and packaging equipment
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
Replace or repair components such as motors, belts, bearings, sensors, and switches
Maintain equipment in accordance with HACCP, GMP, and other food safety regulations
Work closely with production staff to minimize downtime and improve equipment efficiency
Accurately read and interpret technical schematics, manuals, and diagrams
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in a food production or baking environment
Proven mechanical and electrical troubleshooting expertise
Hands-on experience with industrial ovens, dough handling systems, and automated packaging lines
Knowledge of food manufacturing standards including HACCP, GMPs, and sanitation protocols
Ability to work independently and respond effectively under pressure
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
Important Note:
This position does not involve facility/building maintenance. Only candidates with direct production equipment maintenance experience in a food manufacturing environment will be considered.
